Editorial Standards & Corrections
This page explains how Beauty for Queens researches, writes, reviews and updates its content, who stands behind it, and how to flag an error. It applies to every guide, city page, clinic profile and comparison on the site.
Who writes this site
Content is produced by the Beauty for Queens editorial desk and overseen by our founders, Fredrik Filipsson and Morten Andersen. Treatment guides draw on published clinical sources, manufacturer information, regulator guidance and, where relevant, our founders' first-hand experience as patients.
Medical review
Beauty for Queens is a directory, not a medical provider, and our team are not clinicians. For this reason every treatment guide carries a clear medical disclaimer directing readers to a qualified practitioner. We are appointing a qualified medical professional to review treatment content; reviewed pages will carry a visible "Medically reviewed by [name, credential]" line once that review is complete.
How we research
- We prefer primary, authoritative sources: peer-reviewed literature, regulators (e.g. FDA, MHRA), professional bodies and manufacturer prescribing information.
- We describe who a treatment is not for, and its real risks and downtime — not just its benefits.
- Prices are presented as indicative ranges and dated, because they change.
How clinics are selected
Listing is editorial. We assess credentials and registration, conduct an in-person review where possible, weigh genuine patient experience over incentivised ratings, and re-review over time. A clinic may pay to be listed only after it passes; payment never buys placement, ranking or a kinder review. This commercial relationship is disclosed in our Terms.
Independence and disclosure
We are not owned by, and do not resell for, any clinic or manufacturer. Where we may earn a fee or commission, we say so. Sponsored content, if any, is labelled.
Updates and corrections
Pages show a "last updated" date and are revised when information changes. If you spot an error — a wrong price, an outdated claim, a clinic that has changed — email [email protected] with the page URL. We aim to acknowledge within five working days, correct verified errors promptly, and note material corrections on the page.
